Cushioned Synthetic Grass Tennis Surface
A tennis legend advances the game - again, AdvantageKramer

Kramercourt . . . engineered like no other court in the world!

Tennis legend Jack Kramer is taking the reality of his career and sport to the research and development labs. Now fully retired from the game because of physical injuries, Jack has devoted the efforts of his company, Kramer Sports Surfaces, utilizing synthetic grass with a sand topdressing to dampen the shock of foot and court surfaces. Employing the world's most experienced manufacturing management of synthetic sports surfaces, Kramer has developed and sold the Kramercourt for a number of years. This court has uncompromising quality and has earned the reputation as the highest quality system of the traditional sand-filled surfaces.

KramergreenKramercourt is enjoyed world-wide and by some very notable players and clubs, e.g., President Boris Yeltsin of Russia who personally selected the surface, Johnny Carson, TV personality, Steven Spielberg, film producer, Grant Tinker, former president of NBC, The Vertical Fitness & Racquet Club, New York City, Waialia Tennis Club, Honolulu, Intercontinental Hotel in Sultunate of Oman, the City of St.- Foye, Canada and many others in Spain, Japan, Taiwan, Mexico, South America and all across America.

Jack has not, however, let the company's team rest on its immediate successes. He had watched Wilson Sporting Goods technology team move from their overwhelmingly successful wooden Kramer Autograph racquet to their new state of the art models and knew that his company, likewise, could find and apply technical methodology to improve his surfaces. The result of that challenge, AdvantageKramer, is now offered to the market.

In a press release Jack said, "Our new System employs the latest technology to provide absolute top level surface performance, and the ultimate in real cushioned comfort. We set out to develop a surface that significantly reduces the damage that hard tennis surfaces cause to the body. AdvantageKramer is truly 'built for the human body.' Advantage, court user."

AdvantageKramer . . . Has No Equal
The new surface began its development in Australia in 1985 by Dale Hansen, the target being the Australian Open surface. Attempts had been tried in the U.S. in the 1970's when the new polypropylene fiber was first developed. The first tennis surface attempt for a tennis club in California failed. At the time, no one understood the needed elements necessary to the bounce of a tennis ball and the interaction of a softer surface of a grass-like fiber. With the knowledge gained of sandfilled synthetic grass in Australia and assisting in the fiber development for Australia where grass tennis court surfaces were dominant, Hansen was equipped to develop this new surface.

Kramer's technical staff moved way from the traditional long pile, sandfilled surface to create a very dense short pile surface requiring less and topdressing to support the fiber system. Plus, adding KramerGreen Topdressing Sand unique to the market. Additionally, developing a compatible cushion system as an underlayment in providing comfort to the body and maintaining the bounce of the ball.

AdvantageKramer became a true cushioned system meeting the needs of the 90's for sound footing, even bounce, moderate pace and cushioned protection of players' legs and backs PLUS a new fresh look.

From the players' point of view, they state the following: "The balls don't skid and neither does the player." "The court is great in appearance with exceptional comfort and security." "I prefer a surface that gives you the coolness and feel of natural grass, plus the long wear and predictability."

Over eight years in development, AdvantageKramer provides this shock absorbing surface by using an all-new synthetic fiber which creates a very short dense turf surface that is laid over an all-water cushion layer. Top-dressed with KramerGreen, the AdvantageKramer brings to the most demanding players: consistent ball bounce, sound footing, excellent pace, coolness under foot and cushioned comfort. The AdvantageKramer is installed with a 7 year warranty.

Kramer continued, "This is not the traditional sandfilled grass court. It has been engineered to play with the feel of natural grass, provide magnificent appearance and have minimal maintenance. Best of all, the surface is easily installed over existing surfaces."

AdvantageKramer courts compliment the companion surface, Kramercourt. Both systems provide the comfort and satisfaction for the tennis player of the 90's. Select from these top surfaces.. .the one that fills the need for your tennis enjoyment for years to come!
